What is the collection process for our Sydney warehouse?

Once we have processed your online order we will be in touch to book you in for collection. If you purchase furniture online that is in stock, a member of our logistics team will contact you to arrange your collection and book it into one of our specified pick-up times.

We’re easy to find. If you’re heading west, drive down Victoria Road, turn left into Brodie Street and follow for 500 metres.

If you’re heading east, drive down Victoria Road, turn left into Crowgey Street, then immediately left into Dudley Street. Follow Dudley Street around to the left (under Victoria Road) and this will become Brodie Street. Follow for 500 metres.

If you have purchased online and choose to collect from our Sydney warehouse (Rydalmere), please call or email us: 0451 519 070 or 0410 880 524 or warehouse@shack.com.au. Should you need to change your collection time, then please call our logistics team on 0451 519 070 at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time.

How should I prepare for my collection?

You have the option to collect most* of our pieces of furniture during our specified pick-up times each week from our warehouse. It’s a very good idea to bring old blankets or towels to protect pieces for their journey home.

It is your responsibility to ensure the pieces will easily fit in your vehicle when you collect from our warehouse. Please note: we’ve not had any customers successfully fit a bedhead inside even the biggest station wagons or 4WDs. For a bedhead, you will need to use a ute or a delivery-style van.

Our warehouse is located at Brodie Industrial Estate – Unit 3/40 Brodie Street Rydalmere NSW 2116.

*Our pedestal tables, armoires, beds and large buffets are not available for warehouse pick up, as they are too heavy for our warehouse staff to safely lift and carry. These pieces must be delivered or collected by professional furniture removalists without assistance from our warehouse staff.
