Coastal Decor From the Table to the Floor

Our coastal homewares cover the small finishing touches and a few larger statements:

• On the table - Capiz shell placemats and coasters, white marble lotus bowls and round marble coasters tied with twine.
• On shelves and consoles - Off-white paper mache vases and urns, marble knots and bookends, and white table lamps.
• On the floor - White terracotta pots in 50 and 80cm, tall painted iron urns and white rattan laundry hampers.
• Small details - Cotton cushions, a timber whale doorstop and drawer knobs in Santorini blue, snowflake and whale designs.

Sizing Coastal Pieces for Your Space

Capiz placemats measure 35 x 35cm, enough room for a dinner plate and cutlery. The marble lotus bowls come in 15, 20 and 30cm, so three sizes grouped together look relaxed on a dining table or sideboard.

For floor pieces, the 50cm white terracotta pot sits neatly beside a sofa, while the 80cm size makes a statement in an entry. The terracotta pots suit indoor and outdoor use, so they can move out to a covered balcony in summer.

How to Layer Coastal Whites

The secret to a coastal room is texture. Our coastal decor layers cool, polished marble with the soft glow of capiz shell, the matte finish of paper mache and the open weave of rattan, so pale tones still feel rich and warm.

Many pieces are handmade, so you’ll see small differences in colour and pattern: capiz is cut by hand, and no two marble pieces share the same veining. Pair them with our white Coastline furniture or Hamptons-style furniture for a fully coastal room.

Simple Care for Shell, Marble and Rattan

Keep coastal homewares in marble, capiz and paper mache looking fresh with a soft, dry cloth. Rattan lasts longest away from heaters and harsh sun, and cotton cushion covers can go in a cold machine wash. Our care guide covers each material in more detail.
